Julio Vasquez Manuel Rodrigez III in attendance to a local free clinic giving away flu shots right before the dreadful flu season comes, by giving painfull shots that are more crusifying than the actual illness. Before Mr. Rodrigez was just plainning on spending his day at his small workplace of making and constructing shoes.





officer Dan of APD filed a report on thieft at Point Place mall during the morning hours of the day, because the victim of this crime kept praising the criminals on how well they exicuted this not well planned out crime. One of the things we found interesting was the fact that the victim claimed that he was still present in the car at the time of the thieft.

focus on an object[s] and only that and everything els is out of focus so you look on the interesting thing.

nine/eleven composition

simplicity. this photo is just very simple, because it does not have a complicated background to steal your attention. its just a kid, doll, and a american flag.

framing. this is framing because the man is being framed by all the boxes and the man being the center of intrest and the boxes being the object surrounding him(as a frame).


lines. as you see the flag, and look at the strips. it will lead you to the people on the roof. this is the compisition called lines

rule of thirds. the rule is that the photo is divided into three's. and what ever is on the lines that divids it. comes out to be noticed first because your scaning the photo and this does that very well. why? because the man in the photo is right in a intercection of the bottom third and the left third

balance. the rule of balance is basicly getting objects to make shapes

this does that by the flag making a triangle with the pole.

avoiding mergers. this does that good because it allows space bordering all three people and not cuting them in half. but even though they are it is all at the same spot. so the photographer must of knew what he wanted in the picture and what he did not want.

my first enlargements

i had to clean my negatives first, because i had wipe away all the water drops on the strip i was using that had the picture i was goin to enlarge.

to put the strip of film into the enlarger. i had to take out the negative folder and load in the strip.

to focus i had to adjust the focus nobs on the side until i thought it was in good focus, and to see if it was in perfect focus. i had to get this mirror attatched to this micro scope and look at my picture with it and if i saw the grains of emulsion on the film strip that ment that it was in perfect focus.

first instead of making the final print i had to do a test strip. to deside on how much light exposure would fit best for the picture and the best would be used for the final print.

--Wohell-- this isn't really candid i think,

and it doesn't take up the frame. but it if did fill the

frame you wouldn't see the art work on the walls and

everything els around the king figure. so i guess you can

say that the frame is filled with all of the king's surroundings.

--Evans-- very dark, but also fills the frame with its many gravestones and other objects.

both images are very dark and captures alot in the image.

like for instance in the police station one it is candid by capturing the two men in the middle of a convorsation, and in the other. there is great contrast, as in the lights in the city and the darkness of the sky.
